EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES & TRAINING

Alliance Nursing offers employees ongoing training in ventilator skills, first aid, and CPR.

The ventilator skills lab consists of ventilator overview and hands-on training. Students learn:

  • Ventilator mechanics
  • Settings and their functions
  • Battery function
  • Safety checks
  • Circuit tubing functions and cleaning
  • Assembly of circuits

Classes are scheduled on an as needed basis. You may sign up for this class by calling the office at 1-800-473-3303 and making a request to be added to the list.

Alliance Nursing employs one licensed CPR / First Aid instructor.  First Aid is required by the state of Washington only for those employed at the Adult Family Homes. This class is provided at the Alliance Nursing office on an as needed basis. Please call the office at 1-800-473-3303 to sign up for the class.

CPR classes are offered monthly for a fee at the Woodinville office. This Class C certification is valid for two years. If you participate in a safety meeting prior to the class, the class is free. Call the office at 1-800-473-3303 to sign up for a class and let the scheduler know if you will be participating in the safety meeting.
